Code of ethics and professional practice

Every member of the CPJA is committed to work to the code of ethics and practice of the UK Council for Psychotherapy – which you can find here.

In addition, organisational members of the CPJA have their own codes of ethics and practice, and complaints procedures – details of which are available on their websites or on request. You can find a list of CPJA organisational members here.

The CPJA does not itself have a code of ethics and professional practice, nor do we hear complaints. We do, however, work as a college to a Statement of Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic Ethics, which can be found here.

You can find details of the UKCP’s complaints process here
